HOW WE TRAIN ATHLETES
 

  • Before we even discuss you as an athlete, we start at the most important level - who you are as a human, what are you predisposed genetic characteristics, and what are your general characteristics. 

  • Next we look at you as an athlete in your chosen sport. How do you like to play the game, what are your "superpowers" and what is your "kryptonite," what feedback have your coaches given you etc.

  • In our opinion, this is the most overlooked component. Each sport has it's own demands, however after identifying you as a human and athlete, the postion is next. What are the key demands of your specific position, what do you need to execute physically and so on.

  • Finally on a more macro level, what are the specific requirements of your sport. This on a more micro level also explores what are the cultural norms within your sport. As we've been quoted saying before, "There's nothing worse seeing a Front Rower in Rugby Union being trained like a Wing in Soccer."

The program is delivered through an online app, ideal for training in any environment. This enables tracking of exercise prescription, training loads, wellness, and provides feedback through video, voice and text. There are also additional technology implemented such as Velocity Based Tracking and Speed Analysis to give you the ultimate package.

PRE-BUILT PROGRAMS

These pre-built programs are sport specific programs designed for athletes who need guidance without their training, without the 1:1 attention or detail to their training. These programs are purpose built for athletes in their chosen sport and time of year. Ideally these are for athletes that have 2+ years training experience and have access to a gym facility. 

Important Information:

- These programs are 5 weeks in duration. At the end of the 5 weeks, your programming account will be deleted.

- Start at Phase 1 of your sport, and progress along to the following phases. 

- Upon purchase, you will receive an email within 24-48 hours with instructions on how to access your Lumin Arc account where your program will be.

- If you need any specific questions for your program, there are instructions within the app.
